The Knitting Developer - A knitting, development, and general geekery blog.

Hello to all Programmers and Crafters

Welcome to my neck of the blogging woods. My name is Mary and throughout the week I’ll be bringing you news on my experiences as a soon-to-be graduated Computer Science major. If you want to know a little more about me feel free to visit the “About the Author Page”. I’ll be posting a more detailed personal history, so you can look forward to that in the near future.

What should you expect from this blog? My goal is to offer (hopefully) interesting brain food every week on my programming and crafting pursuits. Currently the schedule looks like:

Craft Night Tuesdays: On Tuesday I will update on all my crafty pursuits. This will mostly encompass knitting, but you can expect a little sewing, crocheting and spinning in here as well.

Code Camp Thursday: Thursday I will update on what is going on in my life within the programming universe. Expect many “lessons learned” and tips and tidbits I pick up along the way.

Saturday Morning Geekery: Friday will be a quick recap of the posts throughout the week along with other things that interest me across the net. Expectations: Lots and Lots of nerd-tastic awesomeness.

As a new blogger, coder, and almost graduated student, this will be a tight schedule for me to keep but I’m sure this will be a fun and entertaining experience for everyone. I look forward to hearing from all of you out there!
